ROOTED
Your kids are important to us here at Turning Point! In our children's ministry, we provide numerous opportunities for your child to learn and grow in a safe, fun environment. Turning Point Kids exists to help kids find and follow God through a variety of ministry environments and become rooted in Christ. We seek to partner with families to help kids know, worship, and serve Jesus. Our goal is to provide a fun and interactive program tailored just for kids no matter their age and to help them know Jesus as they build meaningful relationships with other children and adults!
Awanas
Turning Point’s Awana club is our mid-week discipleship program offered for kids ages 3yr old-5th grade. This program is designed to be fun and engaging for your child, as well as instructive and empowering with the gospel of Jesus. There will be large group activities as well as small group discipleship each Wednesday night from 6:30 - 8PM throughout the school year.
Nursery
As parents, our primary ministry is to our children. At Turning Point at Calvary we seek to assist you in that task through our Nursery/Preschool ministry. Our goal is to provide a safe, enjoyable and most importantly, a Christ-centered environment for your children to be loved and instructed while you worship God, study His Word and serve Him here at our church. Childcare is provided for all church services including Wednesday night activities. We are always looking for willing volunteers for this ministry! Please contact the church office to get involved.

We believe the Holy Scriptures (Old and New Testaments) to be the inspired and authoritative Word of God. We believe each person is created in His image for the purpose of communing with and worshiping God. We believe in the ministry of the Holy Spirit, Who enables us to live godly lives. We believe each of us is called to love the Lord our God with all our heart, mind, soul, and strength, and to love our neighbors as ourselves. We believe God calls us to lives of purity, service, stewardship and integrity.
The Statement of Faith and Values is designed to affirm the need for those in leadership to follow biblical standards. Leaders are held to a higher standard than those who are not in leadership and must agree to the tenets contained in the Statement. All adults in leadership roles—whether staff or volunteer at any level—must agree to sign and adhere to the Statement of Faith. Youth members are not required to sign this statement.

Purity // God calls us to lives of holiness, being pure of heart, mind, word and deed. We are to reserve sexual activity for the sanctity of marriage, a lifelong commitment before God between a man and a woman.
Service // God calls us to become responsible members of our community and the world through selfless acts that contribute to the welfare of others.
Stewardship // God calls us to use our God-given time, talents, and money wisely.
Integrity // God calls us to live moral lives that demonstrate an inward motivation to do what is biblically right regardless of the cost.
